It is meant for readers who are interested in Indian religious thought and practices including yoga. as well as for students of religions, social workers and administrators who come into contact with Hindu immigrant communities and not least for the Hindus themselves; it may be of particular help to those of them who have been born and educated in the West or received a mainly Western-type education in India.
