Leaves From the Pages of Time

Leaves from the Pages of Time is a book about the origin and growth of Christianity in the Mysore diocese from 1300 AD till 2018. The book is a result of painstaking archival research to bring to light how Christianity began with evangelisation in 1300 AD by the Dominicans followed by other foreign missionaries that contributed immensely to the spread of religion such as the French Foreign Missionaries (MEP).

      Further, the book gives an exhaustive account of the bishops who headed the Mysore diocese till 2018 and their contributions to the growth and spread of Christianity in Mysore and the surrounding districts. The book also traces the history of the St. Philomena’s Church also known as the St Joseph’s Cathedral from its conception to the present time.
