India is a country of religious and cultural plurality. It is this diversity that motivates the people of our country to be united in the common task of nation building. This task is by no means an easy one. The need for raising our voices for mutual understanding and respect for one another’s religious beliefs has become more urgent in recent times. India hosts a variety of religious thoughts and it is perhaps, this diversity of religions in the country that gives motivation to some people to undertake hate campaigns against one another.
