Description

Indian Theology has two foci – inculturation and liberation. This book is an attempt to combin these two significant themes which are inseparable aspects of the Christ-event. There are three kinds of voices, viz. Elite, Ecumenical and Subaltern, identified in the Indian theological reflections which clearly give importance to the incarnation and the cross taking into consideration the indian social realities. All are valid and important but we need a healthy dialogue with each other in order to have a relevant theology in India. This book gives some kind of directions in this regard.
